It is my first Hummingbird photo, it was really very hard to take it, because the bird is very fast to fly and every time I tried to take the shot the bird was out of focus. To take this, I had to calculate the approaching time the bird had to take to get to the flower, I was very lucky for I never saw the hummingbird on the screen of the camera.
To me, the scientific name of this bird is Phaetornis augusti, but I am not really sure. The shot was taken in Bonda a small town near Santa Marta, city. |

não é fácil capturar esses pássaros em voo, e sua tentativa, creio eu, foi bem sucedida...
gostei das cores, apenas acredito que faltou um pouco de luz no passaro, ele se confunde um pouco com o fundo (BG).

The bill looks too straight for augusti according to my book but maybe it ´s the angle and I don´t know what else it would be. Anyway very nice shooting. Those Hermits are very hard to capture.
