[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Fragata, Fragata-comum (Fregata magnificens) is a nice bird that I have flying over my head since my childhood, always when fishing in the oceanic islands at my state, Paraná, southern Brazil.
Here is a female flying around 30 miles from the coast and 23 miles from her island-habitat.
This bird doesn´t dive to catch her fishes. The fragatas eat from the surface, and she uses to steal some fish from the other species on flight.
I will dedicate myself to catch some better pictures in the future, as soon as I have an appropriate zoom lens. I caught this one using a 18-55mm when she was flying over my boat looking for something to eat.
I just crop a little bit and did not managed colours or whatever.

Hi Jose,
A difficult exposure with both dark and white plumage against a bright sky. I think you got a pretty good shot here. Dice colors and detail in the whites. A very unique shape to the wings and tail of this guy. He stands out well against the blue sky.

This is a splendid in-flight from you!
The pose of this wonderful fragata is seems majestic and this POV is simply gorgeous - it allows for a great angle to see its interesting and beautiful shape of the tail.
The details are very neat and sharp, the colors are outstanding and the blue sky works terrific as a BG.
All-in-all a superb composition!
