Hi Thor

Another splendid shot from you...but shouldn't it be "Ladies first..."? :)))))

This too is a great capture and again it's the timing that stands out nicely - excellent moment to catch it with some food in its beak (even if it's not the most natural food...)
The details are again terrific and the contrast with the surroundings is exceptional.
I really like seeing that patch of colorful feathers on its wing...makes it a little more interesing than the regular "all-blacks" ;))

Cheers, my friend and TFS

Hi Thorsten.
Once more your very nice bird picture with expressive diagonal composition. I like it so much. Lights, colours, sharpness, POV and DOF are simply perfect. BRAVO and my compliments.

I know that flip rotation sometimes gives another impression. My variant is not a true workshop. By rotate variant of your shot I would show that crackle may look almost at me. At original shot it looks at another side. As for me this is interesting effect.
My best regards and TFS.
Alexei.

Hallo Thorsten,
Gruss..Sky

Hi Thorsten

Don't we men always take for granted that there will be food on the table come meal time and we tend to leave it up to the females to think about food for the family? Probably this little lady has got it quite right and that piece of bread will be shared with a bunch of youngsters somewhere in a nest.

This shot display excellent contrasts, not only within the black plumage of the bird, but also with the dark bird versus its bright surroundings. The details are well defined and the colours are just great. Exposure control was spot-on (considering the fact that it must have been close to midday thus you had to contend with a rather harsh sun) and the composition + POV demonstrates excellent timing.

Well done MF and TFS.
Regards
Loot
