[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Early Spring saw lots of Chaffinches flying about, making nests, pairing up, etc and I spent a day trying to photograph them in flight from a range of about 6 metres. I have lost the EXIF files but I would have been using my 600mm lens from my hide. The camera was the Canon EOS 10D. Spot metering, AV, Cable shutter release.

Hi Peter, a fantastic catch of the Chaffinch in flight. The movement on the wings is excellent and the sharpness on the body - just right! Lovely colour tones agains a perfect DOF. Great composition.

Very good in flight capture!
I like so much the pose of the bird catched...it looks great with the movement of their wings frozen.
You did pretty well with the DOF and the details got.
