[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Mount Earnslaw near the settlement of Glenorchy.

Glenorchy is the meeting place for one of the most famous hiking trails, or tramping track as the kiwis would say, in New Zealand. The Routeburn track. A beautiful and very popular track, that can be very populated and crowded.
Nearby is also the Rees/Dart River track, not that famous but popular as well.

But between all these tracks, is another not so well known track. The Earnslaw Burn track. This track will lead you to the Earnslaw Glacier and on a clear day it's a real beauty. It's a good track to start up on before going on the long trails.

Hello Christian,
A lovely New Zealand landscape you've captured here ... except that if you hadn't said it was New Zealand,I might not have guessed. The reason being that none of the trees in the shot are NZ natives. I take it this was shot by a road or from town?
It almost has a Canadian or Swiss look about it.
Very nice indeed though.

Good composition in this image. I like how you have framed the mountain with the trees. The lighting may be a little bit harsh which caused alot of contrast in the tree foliage. Beautiful place, TFS.
