[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I catched this bird in the Waza National park along the road at the end of the afternoon, north of Cameroon.

It looked really curious and I have no idea what could be its name. It tried to make some research but it looks like there is too much birds referenced in Cameroon and I have no broadband connection :)

Luckily, Manyee helped me : it could be an African Hoopoe.

Hello Steven,
A great shot of this Hoopoe bird (Upupa epops).
Clear details despite the distance. Good light.
It is a nice composition of this hoopoe on the branches.
Could you have cropped the image closer to give us a better view?

think i love the background more than the bird, which is perfectly placed and adds a bit of foreground interest.

Excellente image qui nous montre la huppe fasciée. Belle lumière sur l'ensemble qui est très plaisant. J'aime bien la disposition choisie, avec l'oiseau tout à droite.
