| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This Pink Footed Goose was one of the early migrants to arrive at their wintering ground on the Mersey Estuary.
I photographed it when it was down on the lake for a preen and a wash. It may have just arrived from Iceland that day as many of the geese were asleep on the fields.

Wow Peter, I love this Goose, I have seen them in St. James's Park and Peter Scotts reserve, but don't, as yet, have a shot of one of them. They are very dainty and this one has a great pov showing all the markings and nice profile of the head and beak. Colours and tones are perfect and work well with your frame. Nice and sharp and charming composition.
