What an amazing capture. The Northern Flicker looks great against the lovely blue sky. What a bonus that it has just caught a scrumptious meal. A beautiful image.

Holá Luis,
Great capture of a Northern Flicker leaving its nesting hole with a faecal bag from its young. Like many other passerines, the adult picks the excrement off from the behind off its fledgelings as it comes out.
Your shot is sharp and detailed enough to see the bits of wood from the base of the hole sticking to the to excrement.
Great action and behavioural shot!

What an impeccable timing!!! And what a terrific title! :))
This is really a beautiful capture, with excellent details and colors on both the bird and that perfect blue sky in the BG.
The exposure was superbly managed here and the DOF gave you just enough coverage for the subject as needed.
A beautiful composition!
