Critiques [Translate]

good job ;)

A great shot of this Ibex. Very good sharpness and color. The composition is perfect. Nice Job!

Magnificent capture Christian, composition is excellent as is the detail and exposure. The BG is really fitting here as it conveys the altitude, steepness, and harshness of the mountain...in to my favorites, very well done.

Very nice photo of this magnificant animal. Love the light in the photo.
Thanks.

Excellent shot Christian, what an amazing creature. Those horns must weigh a ton. It's a very nice photo with good exposure control. I would have liked to have seen more room below for the feet to fit into. Great shot.

Belle comositiom!

Christian, You deserve 20 points alone for the five miles through snow..Superb photo. It is magnificent! Bravo!!

This guy really must be very popular in his harem - marvellous horns he has.
Great capture Christian. The pose and pov is excellent as well as the colours. The composition/cropping is very good but I am not sure about the twig in the right side - I think I would clone it out. Otherwise it is a pleasant capture to look at and I like the way he is struggling his way up on the mountain.

Great picture, excellent composition and very interesting one too.

This is incredible! This male is truly imposing and this shot is very close to perfection.

Very well done and thanks for posting

Thanks for walking 5 hours... Well, at least I think the walk was well worth the time because the picture is great.

Excellent details and composition, maybe you should have cloned away the branch for a "cleaner" picture.

Thanks for sharing

An exceptional shot, detail is superb, snow glare is contained, and the animal is in a beautiful pose. Good work, your were well prepared for this shot.

Great picture, Christian.
I don't know how I missed it. :-(

Thank you, this is an excellant image.

Wonderful creature and such horns! Suits better for Santa Claus than reindeer! Very good picture.

Wonderful composition and excellent exposure, considering the difficulty of the shot.

Wonderful capture, perfect sharpnness and well worth 5 hours on snowshoes. You certainly have more energy than I do, LOL! Do you count the ridges on the horns to predict age?

Thanks for sharing,

Alli

amazing shot. very well composed in diagonal. i adore the snow texture. focus on subject and dof are great! excellent work. thanks a lot.

Hi Christian,
This is an excellent shot! The detail in the Ibex is wonderful. The curved horns are amazing. I especially like the diagonal composition here, and also the ridges in the background. It gives the impression that the Ibex is at a very high altitude. The tones and contrasts between the whites and browns are good. A very majestic scene!

Wow! Great shot! I love animal photographed in the wild like this rather than in zoos. It's a lot more difficult, but it makes for such interesting photographs. You've done an excellent job here. I like how you've framed this shot with the mountains as a backdrop. One of the best photographs I've seen on TN.

Talking about a great capture!!! that is awesome. Look at those Horns. Nicely exposed and good detail. I like how the arch in the tree branch almost match the same arch in the horns. :)

Very impressive!!! An excellent picture of a magnificent Ibex! Great composition and superb colors. Sharpness and DOF also are very good. It's a pleasure to look at such outstanding work. Excellent job! TFS!

Bonjour Christian,

Excellent photo! Great pose & composition. Teriffic details and good colors & exposure.

Bon jour Christian,
I have seen many Ibex both in Europe as well as in North Africa, but never one in really deep snow.

It is a most interesting and beautiful photo, making me yearn for the alps.
Thanks very much for sharing your work
