interesting persepective but the head needs a bit of sharpening.
Hi Bob,
Interesting picture and story. I hope they will make a nest there and you’ll be able to take more interesting pictures.
I saw one pair a week ago doing the same, but they changed their mind and moved somewhere else.
Have a good weekend, Mario.
belle capture, bg un peu sombre peut etre mais bravo, tres bons détails

Hi Bob,
Very interesting capture and story, the one solution I thought of right away is probably not on option and that is fill flash.
Great detail in your capture, thanks for sharing.

Hola Bob.- What a nice and beatiful photo. Very sharp and well focus. I like his home.
Luis52.
It is a scene with strong contrast in values. The important thing is that you got all the detail in the blacks and the whites of the chickadee. You haven't lost any detail in the right hand side and it is a simple matter of toning just that side down a bit with an adjustment layer.
Looking forward to seeing the new family.

Bob, your Cickadee is a bute! There is nothing wrong here. What you call overexposure, to me look like a wee blur in b/g
The bark is sharp, the bird's head is sharp.
I would try a different presentation. Two ideas are in WS. Tfs, J. { There goes my quota ;) }

Hi Bob,
I like the little Chickadee's too now that I have seen your image of one. How cute. So glad you took care and didn't damage their nesting area, a true Greenie. Nice neat hole the Woodpeckers make. Love image of extremely good quality.
Cheers,
Debbie
