Garfish is waiting someone :)
A little information aobut it :
Garfish are one of the UK's most ignored species. Good numbers of gars are present right along the South and West coasts during the summer, and even greater numbers exist off the Southern Irish Coast. They are a tenacious fighter on matched tackle, eager to feed, and can be taken on varied techniques from both boat and shore. Yet, few anglers try for them.
They also prove the ideal short session fish being a relatively easy target for the holiday angler with limited time, and angling mad kids that need constant action. |

This is a beautiful shot... showing these silver fish on the red background. Very graphic image with diagonals, curves and the round eyes of the fish.
I don't know what is garfish, in french the translator says is called "orphie" and it doesn't help me in any way, probably a fish that we don't have here. Is it some kind of eel ?
Same comment as Nina. Superb image, Yilmaz. Very artistic and striking. Yes, Nina is right: the French name is "Orphie" (also called "Aiguille de mer" in Europe; latin name is Belone belone). I sure hope you post a lot more photos, Yilmaz. Thanks.

A very interesting looking fish, looks like an eel?? A note would be very beneficial here.
Thanks for sharing.
You've taken a great photo of these fish! Nice use of colors throughout the photo! And thanks for the insight on the fish! TFS!
