| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
The Monarch is a remarcable butterfly which migrates thousands of miles each year and feeds on toxic pants, thus being avoided by predators and recognised by specific color patterns (orange and black).
Taken at the "Butterflies Go Free" exhibition offered by the Montreal Insectarium at the big greenhouse at the Botanical Gaden - the place to go and photograph rare and exotic butterflies from world around. Taking such photos in march, in Canada, is something special. |

Hi Florin,
The technical aspects are quite good. It is well focused and well exposed. Colo an detail are also good. However, having the main subject perfectly centered in the frame does not make for a very interesting composition.
TFS, Joel
Really nice shot of this classic species, I like the focus and contrast, interesting notes also
Brilliant capture of a Monarch butterfly perched on lantana bush, Florin.
Great point of view, sharp focus and rich colors.
Well done and TFS.

Florin,
Reptile nu prea sunt pe acolo?
Sau mai degraba timp nu prea este?
