Hi Jacob,

this is just great.
here Ph. trochilus is just a visitor and i never was able to say that i have seen it. it to alike Ph. colybitta. and when passing is not singing.
a perfect photo with a perfect morning light.

Hej Jacob,
we are waiting for this bird now, it use to arriwe in the end
of April up here where I live. "Lövsångaren" is our most common bird. As you say the are very like the Chiffchaff-
The picture is very fine, with good details and with a nice POV. I like the composition too.

Hello Jacob,
Lovely shot of a Willow Warbler. I agree that it looks more like a Chiffchaff and the ones we usually see in Sweden are more yellowish and paler, but we also have exceptions like this one.
Superb sharpness, comp and BG. You must be pleased with your new lens and converter, but a tripod is nearly always essentialTFS and best wishes, Ivan

Klein en toch met detail...
Ik ben ook een beetje verrast door uw bevindingen eerlijk gezegd. Maar dit verrast me niet meer als je begrijp wat ik bedoel...500mm lijkt ontzettend veel!
Anderzijds moet je dit waarschijnlijk met een 200mm niet proberen; het is een klein vogeltje after all.
Het resultaat is er en da's belangrijk.
Heb je dit handheld gedaan? Cropped?

Hello Jacob,
This is such a nice little fellow! We have a similar specie here : “Paruline jaune” in French but as you said, it is more yellow. I had the chance to see one only once and my picture was not that good… You captured a very nice pose and details in a great composition with super catch light. I really like those little ones and I hope that I’ll have the chance to see some this summer :) I think that the WS version is good too. Thanks,

A marvelous capture of this warbler. The colors are wonderful showing off the shadings of the birds plummage and wings. Fantastic details. Pose couldn't be better as he is singing. Lovely composition.

Hi Jacob and really sorry for the delay.
I've been mostly out in the fild these past couple of days searching for some new animals :)

This is a very beautiful capture and a splendid composition!
I really like the pose of this little cute Willow warbler here, as well and the simple BG that really concentrates all the attention on the subject.
Excellent exposure management, very nice sharp details and good colors as well.

Wat een plaatje van deze Fitis. Is voor mij de perfecte foto. BG:niets storend. POV: perfect. Verhoudingen 3/3: ook klasse. Scherpte: oké Meestal zit de Tjiftjaf ook wel in de buurt van de Fitis. Bedankt voor de mooie foto.

What a little beauty! The shot is perfect in every way, the pov works really well and the Warbler is nice and sharp in good light. Excellent focus, the fact that he is singing add that extra touch. Maybe it is a youngster.
