Two mating Large Red Damselflies (Pyrrhosoma nymphula, or Vuurjuffer) caught in the act.

The right one is the female, as can be determined by the black marks all over her abdomen; the male only has these at the end of his abdomen.

A nice clear image, I couldn't help but notice that they are forming a heart!

Turn this one around and they make a heart. I think I'll try it and see what it looks like.
Nice clarity and contrast. Interesting subject too. 9.5/10 from me.
