| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This is the lake of Mont Cenis, a big artificial lake with a dam builted in the Sixties, completely with ground (rare indeed). It is settled at 2084 m. on sea level, and it separes the valley of Susa (Italy) from the valley of Laslenbourg (France). The hill of Montcenis has a route that coasts along the lake, with many points of access. Before the existence of the Mont-Blanc and Frejus tunnels, it provided the quick way to reach France from Turin. It is proved that Hannibal passed here with his elephants, in winter!! The hill is closed the most part of the year. |

Ciao Violetta,
