Hummingbird in Native American Tradition

"The Taino Native American people were the first people to meet Columbus in 1492. The Hummingbird is the symbol of the spreader of life on the Earth. It also symbolizes the rebirth of the Taino Indian Nation of the Caribbean and Florida. We also call our Warriors, Colibri Warriors (Hummingbird Warriors), as the Hummingbird is very peaceful but, it protects it own homeland with the heart of a Eagle. Our history tells us the small Hummingbirds were at one time small flies that Agueybaba the Sun Father transformed one day into little birds."

except for the text in the photo, I like it very much. You gave the bird some hovering space, which is nice.

This is a beautiful capture of this hummingbird!
Great timing in this shot, I know that birds moves so quickly.
I like very much the DOF and the soft background, you got a very artistic result.
I think the picture woud be even better if you put the text down, or outside the pic, in order not interfere with the image.

nice action capture. could use a little sharpening. i'd crop closer to the hummingbird. nice use of DOF to blur the background.

Hello Angelina,
Fine, pretty sharp capture in flight of a Ruby-throated. The BG and compo. are excellent, but it would be mare pleasing to see the text outside the picture.

Very nice catching this little hummingbird in flight. Great colors, outstanding DOF and background, nice composition, and the wing blur is very appropriate for a hummer photo.

Remarkable capture, I've never succeeded in photographing a hummingbird. Well seen, TFS!

I had missed out on this one..very beautiful capture, especially the in-flight one is always a difficult one to catch.The BG puts the complete focus on the birdie.
I have a suggestion the ID on the picture is slightly distracting.WOuld suggest u move it a bottom corner.
