| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I found this leaf arrangement in a ditch beside a road. It was very chilly early morning. It was quite foggy outside and the fog was condensing into wonderful frost. Some leaves looked totally dead, yet some were quite fresh. I shot it handheld with ISO set to 200 to get faster shutter speed.
Equipment:
Olympus C-4000Z 4MP digital camera. No tripod - handheld. SM card.
Postprocessing in PS 7:
- cropped & resized
- levels & contrast adjustment
- colour & saturation adjustment
- slightly sharpened

Well, well, Nella, I welcome you to Trek Nature. What a wonderful image. This goes to my favorites, and I'll use it as my wallpaper for the next few days :)). I also went to your PBase gallery. You're definitely a very talented photographer to admire and imitate. Hoping to see many more of your great works here. Congrats!

Hello Nella! Mosaic is exactly right--the shades are incredible! Frost is such a great medium, too bad it comes with the cold and damp. Lovely composition,I love the way you have left the maple leaves at the corners. A great photo!
Very nice composition and theme. I did a litte workshop on this since I like leaf pictures myself. If you would like to send it to you just tell me where. TFS. Cheers Stella
