[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We were on safari last year in Kenya, think this was at Tsavo East. This family of impala seemed to be distracted by our land rover. Decided to go b&w to avoid clutter and did a little d&b in cs2. What do you think?

Hi Ross,

From what I can see here, the lens looks nice and sharp. Generally, getting half of and animal in the frame would ruin the composition. Fortunately, the fourth impala is sufficiently hidden behind the shrub that it does not seem to be objectionable. However, centering the main subject in the frame may not have been the best choice of composition.

The choice of doing it as a b&w is interesting. The starkness is quite effective. I suspect that in color, it might have been rather cluttered.

TFS, Joel

Hi Ross,
Welcome to TN.
Very nice first shot! my compliments! The focus, POV, composition, grey scale are very good, also the sharpen of the pic. I agree with Joelo about the colours composition: too much colours in a pic gets the subject lost.
Well done
TFS
Brenda
