| Female elk, moose, (Alces alces), is the largest member of the deer family. The average weight is 450kg for a male and 350kg for a female, but they can reach a weight of 850kg. The photo was taken one evening, the light was not the best, and ISO 800 was required. |

Hi Anders,
A very wonderful moment captured. You really got some great eye contact with the moose. Excellent work on the details and DOF. I do feel that a slight adjustment in levels and colors could make the moose stand out even more.
