Hola Ram,
Preciosa y bella captura de excelente composición, con buena nitidez, luz y fondo fantásticos. Saludos
José Ramón

bonita composicion, buenos detalles y colores. Saludos.

Interesting species Ram, one I've not seen before.
The shot is not your best (sorry), could do with better DOF and sharpness. The background is a bit noisy too!

Hello Ram,
The long legs shown in this shot of this dragonfly really illustrate the reason for its name. These legs and the body are depicted sharply and set in a superb composition along the diagonals of the image.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan

Hi Ram,

I am amazed by the variety of insects you present. This Glider is wonderful. Such colors on the body and the transparent wings. Excellent colors, details, and bg.

Hi there, I will give you an honest critique...

The subjects not in focus and the background is quite fussy and noisy too. That said, its still useful as an ID shot and its an attractive species, good notes too.

Regards
Matt

Ram Thakur,

I have seen these dragon flies in Hebbal as well. You have taken the picture in its best pose. The composition and colors are very good.

Sir The yellow color on this fly make the picture lovely and lively. The way it is holding the rock or wood is great. Lovely details and one more good pic from you for our education. Ganesh

Hello Ram,
Very fine composition showing this beautiful dragonfly from a nice angle. I like its pose and the parts necessary for identification are very sharp and in good colours. Nice contrasting green background.
TFS and best wishes, Ulla

Hello Ram!
This time I will start from the note. I really like it. You clearly marked all this characters which allow to recognize species. Maybe it is not "anything special" but really very important. In almost all cases here on TN we give names of photographed species, and maybe really often these species are easy to recognize. But on the other hand there is always someone for whom such basic data like morphological features are important to learn more about the species :)

Another "plus" - full and correct species name, including latin name, name of scientist and year of description. All what is needed to find more details about species if we like to do it.

And now a few words about quality of photo.
I like POV, even in it is rather typical for Odonata insects, and colours. On the other hand a little better DOF would be good. Also some noise reduction would be used :)
Have a nice day and best greetings from rainy Lodz,
Radomir

Sir,

I read your profile and just want to say:

I deeply encourage your point of view and hope we can all benefit from TN the way you describe...

With regards... Arjuna.

Hello Ram,
This must have been a tough shot to nail but you have done very well. I like the colors and the motion effect by the wings and the head. Regards,
Hakan
