Wild Roses in Late Spring
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Driving old worn primitive roads can bring one across cabins from the 20th century....empty for years, a few inhabited by mountain hermits who some never see. And all of these places have character, hidden behind acres of tall trees and grown over "driveways".
I have done these tough rides in 4x4's, my own having a huge engine and winch, large snow tires and full truck chains on every wheel, yet I barely left notice that I had past...
Someone told me about these groups of wild roses. For all I knew it was rumor, as are the stories of long abandoned fruit trees which vaporized in someones memories many years ago....
Wild Roses...and such beautiful ones...near and old wooden fence and some chain put up to keep it from falling. Once seen, they are not hard to find again...even surrounded by other beauty of the wilderness road... |

Hello Bob,
I was immediately drawn to this thumbnail because of the vibrant colours and lovely composition. I like it even better as a full screen shot! The bright red against the dark green is lovely! Well done!
kind regards,
Bev :-)

BEAUTIFUL WORK.
Best regards,

Beautiful flowers! Lovely composition. I love the droplets of rain. The red is amazing - not your usual rose red.
