This tightrope walker has been photograpied at Festival of "Papillons en fête" of Québec.

The horn of the butterflies:
It occurs a rather spectacular phenomenon to the whole beginning from the life from the butterflies. When it leaves its chrysalis, a butterfly has two horns, one just beside the other one. As soon as it is put in position to deploy its wings and to make them dry, the butterfly does not stop deploying and bringing back its two horns, without interruption. Because of the friction of its two horns, they will be welded one with the other to give only one horn. This phenomenon is nevertheless rather remarkable, quite as remarkable as the way in which a butterfly manages to make a perfect circle with its horn.

Hi Janette,
This is a beautiful butterfly. I love the color combination of blue, orange, and white. Outstanding exposure and razor sharp detail! I realize you presented the butterfly just the way you saw it, but I would suggest a flip in orientation. I think your background will allow it without the photo looking odd.
