| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
It was the second year of my interest in photography and we were sat in the car one cold December day. The car park overlooked the River Lune and this Rook landed in a tree not far away. I had my camera handy so took this picture before it went on it's way. The blueness in the picture is the river reflecting the sky.
Camera and settings: - Canon D60 camera, ISO 100, 280mm focal length. hand held. The lens was a Sigma 50-500mm Zoom. |

Good pose Peter, and you've got detail in the blacks. Looks like you got lucky in those branches as there's no horrible obstructions. Best, Brat.
Hi Peter
Very good plumage detail. Not easy to get in black. Nicely composed with excellent clear sharp head. Well done! TFS.
Nice shot. Well composed.

Hi Peter
very good shot.Sharp image with nice Bg.The details of the feathers are coming out pretty good and I know that this a challange on dark colors.
