Hi Peter,
seems like the original shot was dark and you had to brighten it up quite a bit but it's always a prize when you photograph a Kingfisher and you've still done it superbly!

Hi Peter, beautiful photo of the Kingfisher! Excellent colour on the markings with good use of light on the eye, what a handsome little bird. Great focus, detail and sharp througout. I look forward to seeing the others.

First I had my doubts...light is a bit dull.
Afterwards I started to like it; beautiful bird in a good pose. The image is well composed too. And it was winter...
