Hello Jane,
These house finches are adapted to live with us human. Interesting to see male and female together. I like this pov and composition. The blue sky is perfect as a backdrop of this picture. TFS.

If I presume correctly that the bird to the right is a female House Finch, she rightly looks indignant and grumpy :-).

Hi Jane, I love your titles, fab when I saw the shot! Sorry I haven't been around lately due to work. It's a lovely shot of both the male and female, I like the dappled background. This shot has so much to say. Great detail and sharpness together with good sharpness and a wonderful POV

A very good capture of this couple!
I like the scene, with one of them looking sideways what's going on.
Got very clear and sharp details on their plumage, and managed pretty good the DOF to blur the background and put it away.
