Familiar Bluet (Enallagma civile)
The Familiar Bluet is a member of the narrow-winged damselfly family(family Coenagrionidae) as are most the North American damselflies. 1-2 inches(25-50 mm) long, these brightly colored insects usually have clear wings which they hold above their heads when at rest. In most species, the males are more brightly colored than the females. Naiads are 1 inch(25 mm) and have leaf like gills on their abdomen and inhabit quiet waters. This mating pair must have taken lessons from the Kama(Karma) Sutra.

Precioso momento captado, la luz un poco furte para mi gusto y algo de ruído al fondo, es posible que por el tamaño para subir la foto. Saludos.
Awesome composition! Perfect invastion of Damselfly privacy.
The colors are great - I love the metalic green. Good DOF.
Hi Jim,
you catched a beautiful moment, I like to see them in this matin-wheel, very impressive.
The colours are a little washed-out, could be more brilliant, anyway it's a nice shot, I like it, thanks
