A very cute image of these three mute swan cygnets.The composition is well done.Very nice catch light in all three eyes.The reflections are lovely.Lighting is well handled,the light seems bright but you have it under control.TFS

Hi Deborah,
Its a beauty. I was thinking 'ready, steady, go'.
Try setting your camera to under expose next time you are taking birds with white on in sunlight. You have to experiment I'm afraid but over bright whites tend to knock the edge off photo's.
Still a good one to look at. An 'Ooh Ah' picture as they say.

Things that I think make this an excellent photo:
1. The smooth blue water which gives a sense of peacefulness.
2. The outstanding exposure which allows for reproduction of nice natural colors.
3. The razor sharp focus which produced nice details.
4. Your outstanding low POV.
5. The light in all three visible eyes.
I do think cropping is a bit tight on the right.

It's the time when these wonders start to know the planet. I like the feeling that transmit the image: the cygnets together very close trying to find protection against this new luminous world and, especially, the shy touching of the surface of the last one.

Great shot of these little cuties, nicely composed and I like the way they are all lined up in a row, nice detail on the fluffy downey Feathers, superb colours and the light is lovely creating a beautiful metalic effect on the water.
