WOW. Impressive.
Do you know which buterflies they are?
Do you know why they are all like this together?
Have you already seen something like this before?
Interesting subject but with some technical indrances. We are allowed 800px and 200KB. It is good to use them otherwise details are lost. The pic shows well the amount of buterflies but we can't understand they are butterflies unless we are told by reading the title or the note. Would have been beter to have some close big ones in front and then progressively smaller and then the tousands in the distance.
If you have one close-up of one, maybe you could post it in a workshop.

This must have been taken on the island of Rhodes, at a place called the valley of the butterflies. Funnily enough the species that inhabits this area is a moth, not a butterfly, Jersey Tiger Moths.

The photo here would have been better taken closer to the jersey moths, its not easy though as I know from experience!
