From the looks of other post, I am guessing this is a bee eater? It is a most colorful bird. You caught a nice pose of this bird with head turned so that you can see the eye. Unfortunately, the focus is very soft and the exposure is cloudy (overexposed?). The same thing happens to me and I am sorry that I cannot make a suggestion to avoid it. It may be because you were shooting from dark environment into a bright light situation.
