[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken in Bannerghatta Butterfly park, yesterday. There were lots of Emigrants and other butterflies, mudpuddling. This was the only other one. It use to sit, only in those places ,where the emigrants were sucking minerals. I laid-down on the ground to take this shot. It was just few seconds.......

great colors, though i'd lighten the bug a bit, nice focus good DOF interessting composition with sand instead of the usual flower

Very nice presentation of this butterfly. Exposure is outstanding. Excellent detail with the perfect focus. Good composition and DOF.

I have not seen this specie. It has red spots that are not characteristic of Blue Tigers. Good picture. I am surprised that the Butterfly allowed you to get this close.
