I was lucky enough to spot this dragonfly while I was out shooting wildflowers. I did not have time to get my tripod set up but I did manage to switch to macro-mode to get the shot. It is really wonderful full size and not scaled down so much. You can see the pollen on the grass and dew on the wings.A bigger picture is here that shows more detail: http://good-times.webshots.com/photo/2219622990100185210nVHTAw?vhost=good-times

Hi Nicole,
Welcome. Nice photo of a dragonfly although it could be larger. Excellent color. Not bad for a first post. Hope you enjoy your stay and find it to be a rich and rewarding experience. TFS
Best regards,
Jim

WELCOME fellow Texan! :)
Nice shot. These guys are hard to catch.
I hope you post a lot here. Good to have another Texan on board. :)

Hi Nicole,
you started with a nice picture but it's very small, you can
post up to 800px and still keep it in 200k.
I like the POV and composition and the colours are nice.
Well done.

Welcome to TN.
