This is a very natural color for a blue Jay . It is well captured and not too sharp.
I cannot get close enough to blue jays around here .

I agree with the others - good sharpness on those feathers.
And even his beady little eye gleams! An enemy of my cats, these are curious birds - fearless and fierce! My siamese kitty had a bald spot for ages after one of these jays swooped her. ha ha

Nice catch, Linda. Good detail and composition. From the two workshops that you have done, I can see that you are learning fast. You did the right thing by cloning out the top left corner in your first alteration.
