merhaba Fatih,
bir önceki türün güzel bir karesi. Sanırım çoğu kişi bu hayvanları sevmese de, çekim çok güzel. renkleri ve netliği ile çok başarılı bir kare. iyi geceler, selamlar. Ahmet

I saw something like this, I think, in Nepal. It killed a huge cockroach. Superb picture of nature fighting for it's life, the fly must eat to live, the other wants to live to eat again.
Hello Fatih!
Asilidae are one of my favourite fly families so I always like to watch lpictures with these insects. Especially if these are also a documentary photos :)
And here we have a pradator with a prey, really nothing special if we not that these flies are predatory insects. But on the other hand it is the first photo of Asilidae fly I have ever seen where the prey belongs to Orthoptera order. So many thanks for showing something new and interesting!!!
Anyway, do you really think that this is Neoitamus cyanurus? If I know there is no Neoitamus species known from Turkey (at least from European part), and this species - Neoitamus cyanurus - is rather Central European robber fly species.
Anyway, very good photo!
Best withes,
Radomir
PS. By the way, just to compare - please feel free to watch Asilidae flies with some other kind of prey here and here.
