Beautiful shot. Composition, DOF, Focus, and POV are perfect. This fungi's color makes it look very unappetizing...Like some kind of natural defense from foragers. If in nature red means dangerous, then maybe purple just means Yucky! :)

They're not easy to focus on due to the colour, but look good when you get them right.

The color of this mushroom is striking - I have seen some purple mushrooms but non with this intense color.
