Hi Brenda,
Well it may not be the prettiest sight to see, but I think it is important that we do not shrink from the reality of man's cruelty. When I show a "grabspider" with its prey, there will be no-one too outraged about "well that's Nature"...
However when it involves humans we end up with a debate. I complement you for presenting this material for us to see and think about!
As it is the photo is well presented and you have made an excellenty point of the horror and pain that must have been felt by this little creature. Surely there has to be a "better mousetrap"...
Are arsenic laced grain kernels available there?
Hola Brenda,
Saludos cordiales
Hernán
Hi Brenda!
I f you wanted to shock and to shake us up, you have achieved your aim. I love the duality of your notes and your picture: one alone makes no sense, together they are strong.
The discussion could also be if that kind of photography and discussion has to be done on TN. My answer is clearly yes. In a way we are all somehow hypocrites and show just beautiful pictures of natural landscapes or intact wildlife. But the reality is quite different.
Kind regards
Markus
Una fotografía dura pero realista...
Saludos Brenda.
Hi there, little cutie! Such a sad end of your short life. Life sure is not easy, especially not for a little mouse.
Very good photo, but I want to cry, just as I did a New Years Eve long ago. We lived in a new house, but there were mice in the walls, who got into the house, eating books and anything. I wish they had asked me for cheese instead. Anyway, my husband loaded a trap with a little piece of cheese, and a few minutes afterwards we could hear the trap! We looked and saw whad we had done: killed a cute little mouse, still warm. I felt so cruel.
Tfs this excellent but sad photo.
Hi Brenda.
This is a photo that is very hard to look at, an extremely emotional capture, but a good photo nontheless.
It almost looks like it's crying. Most mammals can produce tears, as it is neccecary for healthy eyes. However they don't "cry" in the same sense as we humans do, triggered by emotions.
Thank you for sharing this, it left an impression on me.
Regards,
Johannes
Hello Brenda,
The mouse would also be able to live (if you forget the fall)So nice is this photo. Sharp, colorful. Just what Heaven said:"I love the duality of your notes and your picture: one alone makes no sense, together they are strong"
I think you had to have courage to show this picture to us.
Well done and thanks. Greetings and TFS BOB
