I know it is not so sharp - taken with a small camera (canon powershot A610), and unfortunately in small format :
... a tiny yellowish bug (not more than 3 mm), like other ones found on the same spot, who seemed in love with the heliconia flowers on which they were resting in the middle of the day.
No idea of its name, maybe a common species, not sure... |

Very interesting. It is one of those pictures that attracts and one is not sure why until we see the bug...as if he was totally hiding...Very good eye Catherine!

Superb shot of this camouflaged insect. The focus and sharpness are a bit soft here but I like the colour tones and lighting. I like your POV and your smart eye to pick this insect. Nice composition. Kudos.

Ciao Caterina, interessante esempio di mimetismo, sei stata brava a notare questo piccolo insetto che ha lo stesso colore del fiore, in effetti sembra trasparente, spero che in Turchia tu abbia modo di scatteare qualche nuova foto anche per TN, ciao Silvio
