Hi all!
I hope I am right with the name of that flower: pulsatilla alpina. I took that picture a couple of years ago and it was subject of one of my exhibitions. The background is quite dark because it's made of the bed of a little river that flows into the Lac Ferret and is essentially filled with dark, almost black stones. Ideal background for these wonderful colored spots in the afternoon sun.
I took this picture with my Minolta 505si super which allowed me that format thanks to a double mechanical hatch I could set to reduce the picture. Then I scanned it to digitalize it. For my exhibition it had the format of 20x50 cm.
Regards

Hi Markus,
this photo is similar to the plant I photoed but it is not the same plant.I like that colour in this shot and the dark background gives it a very good contrast and the upper seed head has a beautiful glow about it,nice indeed. Thanks for sharing it. bob
Hello Markus! Wonderful capture. Perfect sharpness. Good contrast. Very interesting contrast. Good luck!
I love the detail and the delicate, colorful nature of this flower. Well seen!
