an attempt at a shot of our galaxy. I dont have a mechanism that will make my camera "follow" the stars, so I was reduced to 30 seconds exposure. The bright star is jupiter

Hi Don,
very interesting shot, you can make out the profile of the spiral arm of our galaxy really well here. You could've maybe increased the brightness in this area in PP, or perhaps used the dodge tool very slightly.
Anyway, this is still a great shot and fascinating to look at, look forward to more if you have any.

i wanted to tell that as far as i know jupiter is not a star.
anyway a good picture.
