Hello Chris,
A warm welcome to TrekNature.
Excellent in flight shot to start of with.
Great point of view. The bird must have been on the same hight as were you were standing.
Excellent sharpness and the bird does stand out wonderfully against the darker tones of the sea.
Also love the soft color tones and details in the darker feathers of the Gannet very much, but the lighter feathers are a little hot.
Nevertheless a beautiful image. Very well done and I hope to see more from you in the near future.
Thanks for sharing.
Best wishes,
Harry

Hi Chris,
a very good in-flight shot with fine details and good sharpness. The gannet seems to enjoy to cruising around.
The POV is very good but IMO it's a bit centered, just some more space in front would be nice. The whites are are slightly
overexposed but it's still a very nice picture.
Well done.

Welcome to TN.

Hi Chris

Welcome to TN.

This is a very good in flight shot. I could maybe be a little sharper, but I do know how difficult it is to get these beautiful Gannets sharp while mid flight. Well done on a great first post. :-)

Hi Chris, welcome to TN.
And what a good photo you have for your first... Hard act to follow!!
A bird in flight's not easy but you have managed well. He's nice and sharp, and we can see him so clearly.
Yes, a little over-exposed on the white feathers, but you will learn with that. We learn by our mistakes:)
Well done
Janice
