Monarch caterpillar on a Milkweed leaf.

At the end of my street there is a group of milk weed.. I often see milkweed beetles but today I found this little guy.

That's a white card board I stuck behind him.. I took 60 shots and this was one of the best ..

This is a wondefful picture ! I love everything here : sharp details, nice natural colors, wonderful coposition and POV, and a splendid blurred BG which makes the caterpillar stand out very nicely - excellent idea to put the white cardboard behind him. The colors on the caterpillar are gorgeous too. Very well done !

Hi Scott. Good close up of the Caterpillar. good detail and colours. I like the way his head is turned up in the air. good detail in the leaf too. Try taking the back ground with out the card . well done TFS.
