[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I know I said I was going to post the couple but I just couldn't decide. This one felt like a good post for Monday - ready to take off into the week.

Interesting things I've noted - the black-chins were the only hummingbirds here a few weeks ago and now the ruby-throats have returned. Is this a sign of changing seasons? I also noted large groups of vultures beginning to form.

These little birds are amazing little creatures - - - they were so busy yesterday, fighting, flirting, hanging out. As I fell asleep last night, I wondered what they were thinking. Were they like young people home from the prom, replaying the whole day in their heads again? I think they were. A good time was had by all. ha ha

Hi Angelina,
A beautiful capture of this young little hummer ready to take off for the weekdays ahead. Excellent focus with great details and simply best composition. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Hola Angelina,
Nice capture of the hummer signaling "Touchdown". Excellent POV, I like the way it is looking at you as if to say, "WOW!!, That lady only has one big 55mm eye!!!". Great composition against a nice BBG. Very well done.

Always hard to deside wich one to upload having so many beautiful Hummingbird images Angelina.
This is a lovely one though to start the new week with.
Wonderful pose of the bird with it's wings spread out sideways and the soft color tones in the background are very pleasing.
Excellent DOF, but pity that twig is behind the bird crossing the wing and body.
Nevertheless a very nice shot.
Thanks for sharing and the good note.
Kind regards,
Harry

Wow gal...You look like you have been invaded by this twitties that also bomb. Very beautiful capture. The branches are set off and compliment so well. A short break has brought out something good. Nice work.

Bob

Hello Angelina,
WHat a wonderful and well-timed capture of this little hummer. It seems to be perched and hovering at the same time! Excellent focus showing fine details and it looks so good against the neutral background. Really beautiful composition too.

Hello Angy,
Great to be able to take shots like this: hummingbirds are marvellous subjects. You captured this Black-throated very well with nice lighting, BG and detail.
Good note too: looks like the birds are on the move already, but I don't know the normal time of arrival of Rubythroats in Texas.
TFS and have a good week!
Ivan

Hummingbirds rock! I love this action shot, just before she took off. The DOF is short and gives us a real treat in focusing us on her wings and forward-leaning posture. Great capture, Angy!

Hi Angy,
a decent shot of this Hummingbird.
A great DOF and a brilliant BG.
Brilliant timing.
Well done,

We have some like this one and some ruby-throats as well. We're too new to it to know what they're doing. :-) I like the detail on this shot. He'll soon be off like a shot. Well done.

Hi Angy,

I love the pose!! You froze the wings beautifully. Pretty hummer with the white tips on his feathers. Good details and background.

I'll be away for two weeks but will be back to catch up.

Hummingbirds are my favorite bird - I've marked this particular photo as a favorite of mine. It's a measure of perfect timing - borrowing one of the quotes in your profile re: getting to that place just when God says it's time to click the shutter. THIS IS IT!

Hi Angelina,
Beautiful composition, nice capture of this amazing creatures! And I agree with your notes...Regards, Marta

Nice catch light in the eye Angelina!
Great composition and colored background!
Good DOF and POV!

Cheers!
Elton

I have found, nature habitats arose better signals of changing climates or season. In India tribals follow these simple rules. And yes, birds, animals and insects understand it better.
A nice take-off picture.

READY FOR TAKE-OFF, yes, Angelina, and so are you "taking-off" with the most BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING images of these series.
LOVELY WORK.
Mario.
P.S. Loved your note, by the by.

Lovely image Angy.
It's like a Japanese painting with the twig, bird, and gold green BG. Great stop action with the wings and tail spread.
Nice composition and POV.
TFS
Richard
