A Tiger for a first one...

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A superb tiger for my first post on TrekNature.
I have taken it yesterday at the park of Les Félins d'Auneau who is a breeding and a research zoological center solely devoted to the Felidae family, from the smaller (the Rusty-spotted Cats) to the bigger (Tigers and Lions).
Dedicated to felines conservation and reproduction, the park is a real haven for these animals so threatened in their natural habitat.
Among the 36 species of felines living in the world, you can discover more than 20 species and different subspecies which live here in huge natural enclosures
This tiger is a sumatran one
Thanks in advance for your comments.
Best regards.

Very beautiful opening shot Yves!
The cats pose is very noble and proud and you've captured it almost perfect. I like the composition and POV very much, but I think it is framed a bit too tight.
Anyway, the photo is great and I like it very much.
Well done!
Welcome to TN :-)
Good shot, Yves! I'm also an admirer of the felines, and luckily here in South Africa we still have a lot of them in the wild.
I agree, it is cropped a bit tight. Give it some space to breath. The moment, however, is there, and to me that is important. Good detail, and nice eye contact.
Welcome to TN
