[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello everyone. We're back after a minor computer meltdown. This is Cheile Bicaz, or Bicaz Gorge, in the center of the Carpathian mountain range. An amazingly dramatic and wild place where the Bicaz river cuts its way through sheer limestone mountains rising in the east of Transilvania to emerge out the other side into the region known as Bucovina.

Hello STEVE and IOANA,
magnificent landscape, superlative composition, the slower shutter speed has given a nice effect to the water flow.

Hi Steve,

it's the POV and composition that makes this work so well. The strong FG element of the rocky outcrop on the right forces the eye down and through the frame, following the river right through past those trees and into the woods.
Good effect with water and general exposure as always.

This is a nice composition with good color and strong elements and dynamic lines. I think it may need a slight rotation to the right. I fear that your stream will flow right out of the photo on the left side : )

TFS a nice shot of a beautiful wild area.

Definitely your special angle. As always a fine vertical landscape. I still have too much pain to stand for long periods in order to use tripod..but getting better.

Hi Steve,
Glad to see you back again and glad that everything is working again. This really looks like a beautiful area. I love the way the river has carved its way through the rocks and has all these little wonderful rapids. I am really atracted by the smaller river on the right. The way the river flows down these rock is very beautiful. Love the silky texture of the water and the fine details throughout.
TFS,
Niek
