| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This is the best I can do, unfortunately, in the sequence of the Canada Goose bathing. I am happy with the way the water is sheeting off and the splash caught in motion, but I am not with the surface of the lake, it looks over exposed to me. I can't adjust it without losing details on the head of the goose or altering the color of the bird. If anyone has any suggestions and especially if they can do a workshop to demonstrate, I'd be very appreciative. Thanks in advance. Also, any suggestions as to settings I might try in similar situations under strong midday light. |

Hi Mish,
a nice shot of this splashing goose.
Sharp with good timing to capture the water.
Well done,
Joe
Hey Mish, very nice shot you captured here, love the detail and the motion stop on the water, I have had a bit of a play with this for you in Lightroom, hope you don't mind.

Mish,
Nice shot of this goose. The timing is good and the focus is sharp. ganesh
hello Mish
superb action shot, i love this kind of photos,
i see that you are at 1/640 seconds of shutter speed,
if i am not in mystake i kno that
your Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50 has image stabilazer,
but if i was at your place i should shoot at higher speed
lets say 1/1000 seconds and the apeture more open
to let pass more light, in my opinion like that
you could frozen the goose's movement and the water better way

Hi Mish.
Simply great timing and captured moment. Once I took similar shot of seagull. Great freezing the goose covered by the water, excellent lighting, details and colours. My best wishes and kind regards.
Alexei.
