| I saw this lurking in the undergrowth, supporting itself on its web, waiting for suitable prey to fall in its trap. I tried to get it to attack me and hoped to get a shot of the spider with its fangs bared! But before I could do that it vanished below the leaves. |

Good day Victor
Thank you for sharing this close-up of the spider with us by way of photography. I think the most of us, dare not come close to a spider of this nature, and therefore miss out on seeing more of this beautiful eight legged creature. Pity you did not have more information on the kind of spider, but never the less, I enjoyed looking at it.
