This is a lovely seascape shot!
I really love the composition that you managed to create here with that rock carefully placed at the left third of the frame.
The clouds look great in the sky, but it's thir reflection that creates a superb pattern on the wet sand in the lower part of the picture that drags even more attention.

This is a wonderful ocean water shot and reflection. Truly it makes me wish I were back on the Pacific Coast. Only if G-D wills it I suppose. At least I have memories through you perfect and most worth work in imaging.

A very skillful shot. You have claerly thought out the balance in this shot, using the reflected blue sky to balance the off-centre stack on the horizon. Good exposure and detail - it would have been very easy to get these wrong!

without that rock this would rate a bit less
but with it its really an eye catcher
reflections work well as well as they dont dominate
some reflection shots are too mirror image like

Hi Ho!
It's the kind of picture that embarasses me. On one hand, it's just a wonderful landscape with a great composition and rich details. The blue reflection leads us to the silver diagonal of the wave that points at the rock. Wonderful. On the other hand, there is that dark blue point in the sky which could come from dust on the sensor or on the lens. I also regret that some parts of the bright tones in the clouds are burnt.

Hi Tony,
back to your wonderful seascapes again? You do show us some awesome sights from your wonderful country. I like the simplicity of this photo a lot. It has a sence of space and tranquility to it. The dark reflection in the wet sand is very beautiful and the position of the rock is perfect. A slight OE sky might be there and a strange spot is visable, but looking past it makes the photo stunning.

this is what a photo should be-simple, direct and artful all at the same time.I like the colour and details in this shot.The refection of the blue part of the sky is like a path to walk on that points the way to that distant rock.Thanks for yet another great reason for people to go to New Zealand and take in the sights.
