[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I thought it was pond heron, but the forest gourd told me it is Chick of Night heron. My god the chick looks complete different than adults. I have some good image of adults that I'll post soon.

September to November is the breeding/nesting time for night heron so nice opportunity to shot this bird at Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary.

Bangalore folks pick your cam and rush to Ranganathittu.
