I wanted to share this picture of the Grasshopper taken last week. I spotted this while wandering around Omkar Hills for butterflies. I was attracted to this Grasshopper due to its appearance. Had it not been sitting among the green leaves it would have looked like a dead wood. Even the eyes have the lines of a wood.

The water droplet in the front should give you an idea of the size of the grasshopper.

Murali, I had a chance to see many of your pictures i missed to comment. This is a very nice shot I tired last week cpaturing but only managed to shoot the eye. Nice work done ganesh smiely tomorrow
