Ophrys apifera, une superbe macro de cette orchidee assez commune en France, mais si belle, t'as vraiment su la mettre en valeur, couleur et contraste sont parfais.

Hi (again) Florent!

Beautiful bee-orchids you have there (where exactly is it?)! This one is, most probably, Ophrys tenthredinifera, Sawfly Orchid in English, Ophrys guêpe or Ophrys porte-scie in French.

It is NOT O. apifera, which has a "sting" pointing downwards (see my postings of last week), but a “tooth” pointing up at the tip of the labellum.

Ophrys tenthredinifera ! Ca ne se voit pas tous les jours, c'est rare, protégé et splendide. Pour pouvoir encore profiter de cette merveille, il faudra jouer au rugby avec ... modération?
