I was chasing a tiger shrike and stumbled on a group of four blue tailed bee eaters. Both birds were new finds for me today just 5 mins drive from home. This shot has been cropped.

nothing wrong with this shot only that the bird looks lost in the foliage and it is a pity you could not get closer. a narrower dof is needed in this photo to isolate the bird more i feel.

Hello Shirley,
Very representative profile picture of a Blue-tailed bee eater. Though a bit far, but it makes the identification of this bird easy. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Shirley,

Good capture of this bird in its natural environment! I never saw this bird when being in Singapore. The color is very beautiful. The light spot gives a nice focus on the bird.

Regards, Mike
